Default 1080p/60hz-24fps vs 1080p/120hz-24fps

I just left my local BB and they finally had a decent movie playing with a decent setup for the BD display.

They had the newest 40" Samsung, 25000:1 Contrast, 120hz, 1080p playing POTC 3 at 24fps.

Now, I have a little older Samsung with 60hz refresh rate. When I play POTC 3 at 60fps vs 24fps, I notice a difference, but this... This was absolutely amazing. It was so clear and so lifelike that it was as if I was at the actual movie set watching through a window. The movements were real, the grain, was real. It was eye popping to say the least.

Don't let anyone tell you different. There is a huge difference between watching a BD at 24fps on a TV that can accept it without and 3:2 pull down adjustments, and one that cannot.

Check it out, you will be pleasantly surprised, as was I.
