Spotted this last night and have submitted a listing. Intrigued to see what films they include. Pepi, Luci, Bom in HD? Yes please...

Jokes aside, I'd still be interested. Almodóvar is somebody I've skirted around over the years but only seen the odd film of his. Might be tempted by this box set somewhere down the line.

Would it be these DVD sets upgraded to blu-ray? As they were also released by Studiocanal

I was thinking that, but there are 6 discs here and 8 films featured in those sets. So unless they plan on putting two films on a couple of the discs, then they might have had to shed a couple. Could be that they're not suitable quality for Blu-ray or something (seeing as Almodóvar worked with small budgets for quite a while).

I know TF1 has a huge Almodovar restoration project ongoing, but nothing is going to be released before at least next year (if anything gets onto BD in the end...), but I didn't know Studio Canal had something too.

Interesting.

Sounds great! I've only seen most of Almodóvar's post-1999 output, so I'd love to get his earlier flicks on BD.

Clicked on the link and it says currently unavailable. Got super excited then, but I'm going to hold off getting hopes too high until a proper announcement.

I'd buy literally anything Almodóvar, but if we got Volver or All About My Mother or Talk to Her on blu-ray, I would faint.

You and me both! That was the first foreign language film I saw theatrically...it was awesome. It holds a very special place in this film lover's heart!

I think that one is given to be included in this set.

Again, all three are with Fox, no? Why would they be in a SC set?

Nice collection, if that list is right - as VONi says, it would be nice to see the earlier stuff. I did catch Flower Of My Secret on the big screen some years ago and really enjoyed it. And of course, WOTVOANB would be awesome

This is great news, I love Almodovar's work & have seen every one of his films. Almost bought the 2 dvd boxsets last week so will hold off for a while to see what happens with this.

If the ones listed are all new restorations I'd be happy if they included any older transfers to round out the sets; *all* of his movies have been available on blu ray in Spain for years (no subtitles except for BAD EDUCATION).
