Run Lola Run - Blu-ray Forum

I just finished watching this on blu-ray and I can't believe I never noticed the video grain they added for the scenes where Lola isn't directly in. I just remember the sd-dvd being fairly weak but not purposeful.

I thought the movie over-all looked great. Yes, there were scenes where grain was added, not sure the point of doing this? but I think over-all they did a nice transfer.

Some scenes were shot with low quality devices (this movie had a small budget). In certain scenes, it looks like video noise more than film grain. I really doubt that grain was intentionally added to scenes without Lola.
