Amazon is mining they are going to start over from the beginning for this one. We will get to see Murphy get wrecked again.

The original RoboCop was lightning in a bottle, the perfect blend of excellent, satirical script/concept, mad genius director happy to go full throttle with as much violence and gore that he could get away with, highly skilled technicians behind the scenes, and a brilliant cast of characters expertly played by all the actors.
Robo 2 was a worthy sequel.

Should have been left there.

Wow, another reimagining of a popular 80s or 90s IP. So excited.

Don't they realize that ROBOCOP is just as magical of a happy accident as GHOSTBUSTERS? Right place, time, cast, people and tone for that moment. Just let it be.

I hope it's good, but it will probably be like 95% of all the other stuff these days that are capitalizing/banking on nostalgia: Crap.
