Really a shame that we don't get more high quality ones like Passion of the Christ, Silence, & Hacksaw Ridge. Only good one that's come out recently to my knowledge was Paul.

Interestingly enough, this will be the first Fox film distributed by Disney. Could totally see the 4k being canned though since God's not dead was.

Agreed on the Passion of the Christ and Silence deserving UHD discs, but Hacksaw Ridge already is on 4K UHD Blu-ray. It was released back in 2017 by Lionsgate.

Oh, while those would be nice, I had meant I wish we got more movies like that made, not released on 4k. Though I'm absolutely supportive of them on 4k too. Passion is one I could have totally seen happen in time for the sequel, had Disney not bought Fox and ruined its chances.

didn't Newmarket actually distribute the movie and Fox soley for home media?

still no mention of Disney/Buena Vista, maybe by this point it'll probably be like Summit after Lionsgate bought them, many of Summit's titles were still handled by Summit themselves untill around 2015

For right now the divisions are somewhat different. Though it’s been mentioned that Disney wants to do the merger layoffs within a year, and home video is expected to be an area with high layoffs (makes sense, it isn’t a big focus on the company the way theatrical and streaming services are, and has to be a lot of redundancy between different home video departments), so they may just become part of Disney home video in not too long.

Anyway, I might see this film in the next week, and the mock up art clearly is very rough as it mentions a 3D Blu Ray for a 2D movie.

Lots of posters/covers use images that they never show in the actual movie

Yeah, but an image like that you would kinda expect to be in the movie. Atleast I would. He never hugs her in the movie.
