Default 2 John Boorman and 1 art house films.

Excalibur, and The Emerald Forest. John Boorman's use of colour is amazing. Even with the poor transfers of these films on the DVD's the cinematography, and lighting really comes out.

Another point, on Emerald Forest is the sound engineering, and editing. There are jungle sounds speaker placement that one would have thought technically impossible for 1985.

The art house film that would be one of the best high definition releases ever made... if done right. Koyaanisqatsi.

Talk about showing off the power of high definition. This film would be a truly mind blowing reference disc. For both picture and sound.

This is a response to an old post but I've been waiting on The Emerald Forest since the inception of BD. I have a feeling I'll be waiting a loooooooooong time
