The Salute of the Jugger (1989) 4K restoration

Looks like this has been announced by Umbrella, sounds very interesting. I also think ‘The Empty Beach (1985)’ deserves a BluRay or 4K UHD. The 4K scan of that has already been screened at a film festival.

That's "The Salute Of The JUGGER", not "Juggler". There's no juggling featured.

Been waiting on a decent uncut version of this for years. For some reason the shorter US cut that just freeze frames after the final battle became the standard.

They obviously thought the proper ending was too bleak and pessimistic. Ironically similar to what happened with the theatrical cut of Blade Runner, except their "solution" was to just chop it off rather than negate it with a tacked-on nonsense ending.
