Default Who uses Bass Shakers/Transducers in their setups?

So I’ve always liked a good deep bass sound but I’m a bedroom setup. So I remember reading years back about buttkickers and some using them for their setups. I forgot about them for years, as they were a ton of money back then. So then I started seeing people recently on the AVSForum about transducers and turns out, they are several other cheaper ways to go about do this. Some have multiple units attached to their seats. I toss mine right now under my mattress and does a great job. The Tumbler's engine roars with a beefy engine sound that can feel. I tried Finding Nemo and inside a whale was cool but HOLY CRAP when Darla taps the glass. Plus a I did some Godzilla Vs Kong and each hit came off heavy feeling and really added to the action. Yesterday I watched FURIOSA and again the extra physical feel of the engines, gunshots and explosions just feels that more real. So I’m using a Fosi amp and one Dayton BST-300EX and cost roughly $270Cnd off Amazon. Highly recommend getting something like this for your setup. Just split or run it off your subwoofer line

You and I have similar equipment... I never thought of it this way but I guess mine is also a bed room setup now that I replaced my front row of seats with adjustable beds.. LOL..

I originally bought a set of 4 DAYTON AUDIO transducer "pucks" as a test of concept. I installed them on my HT chairs to see if is like the effect before investing in something more expensive from the looks of BUTTKICKER.... I have no recollection of whatever negligible amount they cost me with a cheapie PYLE amp, but they are easily the best cost to benefit upgrade I have ever made in my HT...I loved them so much that I haven't felt the need to upgrade...

I invalidated the warranty on my adjustable beds minutes after delivery installing the pucks..lol..

Been meaning to get some. But first I am trying to get a new sub to start replacing the two that died on me (years ago). That and I wanna replace my living room seats.

Glad to read that Buttkicker isn't the only way to go. Gives me more options.

Just wanna update that I have added to my shake with a ShedAudio SA2 Transducer. Unlike my bass shaker from Dayton that are a bit slower and feel more like a punch. While my transducer acts much faster and can feel momentum building to the punch feel. Plus it works better with music but plan to buy soon a ShakEQ that will help deliver a more realistic dialed in tactile feel.
