Does exactly what it says on the tin.

Statham is pretty much modern actor that i can say you pretty much know what to expect. No Oscar level winning movies, but generally entertaining and has action. Albeit i feel like you wouldn't have thought that watching Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Watching the Beekeeper trailer, I'm seeing really good fight choreography, Statham kicking again, and what looks like an awesome action film. January 2024, I'll be there to see it in theaters as a fan. Cool! I have to rewatch Transporter 1, which I saw in theaters all that time ago and have on disc.

Statham stole the show in Expendables 4, and kicks total @ss in that film also, though most were upset it was less of a team film this time understandably. Definitely worth a look for Statham fans IMO.

Ayer is slumming it and Statham has more potential as a quality action star, ala 60's/70's Bronson, Eastwood, McQueen, etc. than the shit scripts he's choosing will allow.
