SYNOPSIS

The con is on when scam artists and lovers Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale) and Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) are entrapped by ambitious FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper) and coerced into participating in a major sting operation which hinges on snaring politician Carmine Polito (Jeremy Renner) and his associates. Complicating matters is Irving’s wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence), who could bring the whole operation crashing down around them all. Does anybody even understand what sony can decide gets locked behind a limited release and what gets a standard retail release anymore??
It feels like they keep putting lesser known catalog films with a really small audience as standard releases (except Muppets somehow wasn't limited anyways?) and movies that are more asked for and well known and liked get put in limited sets/steelbooks now. That doesn't even fully make sense to me, it feels like such a short term investment. Bigger sales than usual when its limited yes, but once its gone they dont profit. Wouldn't they just make more money over time with a standard thats always avaliable? Unless that's what the reprints are for, bigger sales yet again when they come back since they're still limited.
It gets on my nerves so much as their releases are of such high quality practically every time, more people deserve to have access to owning them.

Not sure. Of course Edge of Tomorrow had a giant dent on the back and Little Monsters was badly scraped, the baggy looked like it had been dragged for a few miles, and the spine was slashed for good measure I don't get how you go from adding a piece or two of cardboard in those ravioli packages to this?
