American Star (Ian McShane, Fanny Ardant, Gonzalo López-Gallego, May 2024)

Reminded me of Frears's The Hit. None of the grain, sadly.

Big fan of McShane and he doesn't get enough attention in films but he's in every scene here (produced by him too).

I guessed the ending (obviously) and didn't like any of the CGI but I still really enjoyed it.

McShane also appeared in Gonzalo López-Gallego's Hollow Point
