Default Subwoofer Question
I recently purchased the Yamaha rx-v661 and the klipsch Quintet III, but at the moment because of funds I don't have, and nor can I get in the near future, a sub. However, I do have a HTIB sub that will be servicable at the moment but one thing concerns me.

The sub is 3 ohms and the reciever suggests 8 ohms. Do Ohms even matter to subs because they are self powered, or can a low ohm sub drain a receiver just as well as low ohm speakers?
