Default Any celebrities that support Blu?

Just wondering if anyone knows about any celebrities that have publicly supported Blu-Ray or have said in public they enjoy watching BLU-RAY discs.

Rush Limbaugh announced on his show a few months ago that he purchased a Blu-ray player, and was raving about the PQ of Casino Royale.

You think he'll start lumping in HD-DVD with the "sick, twisted, corrupted liberal media"?

Regardless of political views, any of you feel that HD-DVD is kind of like rudimentary communism?

HD-DVD has combo discs, so the discs are good for the rich and the poor...the rich have to settle for what the poor get

HD-DVD player prices are low on reliablity, low on quality, but priced so everyone can afford them

HD-DVD only lets you view movies from one studio [Universal] and keeps those movies from the free world [Blu-Ray]

No one else makes players but Toshiba [the big bad dictatorship] because other companies can't profit against $100-$200 players

It's kind of scary...

Ridley Scott, and Tony Scott were gushing about Kingdom of Heaven and Black Hawk Down respectively.

I only wish that news of Ridley doing something special for Blade Runner had reached us all sooner. Maybe we could have campaigned for a Blu-ray specific encoding.

What made that all the more sweeter was Graffeo saying "forget it, it won't happen until things are more settled" days before Sony drops the bomb.

I guess things are settled then, right Ken?

Actually those are both Ridley. Are you thinking of Deja Vu?

Yes, you're right. It was Deja Vu. I knew both bros had commented on their films on Blu-ray.

I think we're likely to see Lassiter gushing soon. That Pixar Shorts thing had to come from somewhere. It's an odd choice if it wasn't a fan type move.

Blu-ray: Let your imagination soar. We can handle it.

Gary

Seems fitting since she is nothing more than a coked up, alcholic. I wonder what she'd say when hd dud goes down the crapper, and her stock is completely worthless.

It's HD porn demo material, and it's not a dealbreaker because it's not attached to any of the movies

Did my Limbaugh thread get blown up? I couldn't find it just now.

Anyway Rush just ended his show talking about how the war was over and we could move forward now with Blu-ray.
