Gary Busey is an easy guy to ridicule but he's had moments of brilliance in his career, and his Prince Henry Stout monologue is definitely one of them:

It's one of the poor man's Most Dangerous Game adaptations, but I'd grab it for the cast and Pacific Northwest locations. Hopefully WAC comes through next year.

It's now available in hd digitally. Anyone think this was recently scanned in hd for a blu release? I'm still kind of hesitant to use this as a md2d purchase on Vudu because it could be announced for blu shortly. Sounds like it'd make a great release for Shout Select.

Where are you seeing an HD digital release? I’ve been looking at all the streaming options and I’m still only seeing the SD version as an option.

What streaming platform has the HD version? The trailer is widescreen because it is the theatrical trailer, but the Apple TV version is SD?

I don't see it in hd either. I'm guessing it was either a limited window or a listing mistake last year. I never bought it in hd.

Pre-order for this is up with a Nov 7th release date! Man I love this movie as a kid, it would always come on late at night on TNT, I'm pumped for this lol

Wow, what a crazy coincidence. I just discovered this movie about a month ago, and was disappointed to see that it had no HD release. That was a short wait! Now, if the same could happen with a few other titles!

Yep, it didn't exactly strain his 'acting talents'. I imagine his daily direction was; "Ice! Look angry! Now run over there!"

Fun movie though, even if the ending sucks.

Got the shout select of Surviving the Game yesterday. Extras are Commentary with the director and a 4k scan. Shout as of this post haven't updated the site on details for the disc, so here you go.

Probably the best the movie has ever looked, very pleased with the movie itself, but would have been nice to get some interviews with some of the actors, or if there were some archived material included, but at the end of the day the movie is most important and they did a good job on that front.

Also, no slipcover included for this release.

I just checked on iTunes after a long time & it's available to buy in HD on there now.
