Disney Working For Peanuts 3D Blu-Ray (1953) [Region Free] Disney 3D Showcase Short

Watched Working for Peanuts on the 2010 Disney demo disc (ordered off Ebay). I saw this at the 3rd 3-D Expo at the Egyptian in LA 4 years ago and strangely didn't remember most of it though it was VERY good. Worth the price of the disc alone (I paid about $25.) Now if Warners could somehow release LumberJack Rabbit....

Lol

The convergence isn't set correctly. The image is adjusted to sit further outside the screen than it's supposed to be. It's not too noticeable on a small screen, but it becomes an eyestrain for large projector screens. A player or display with a convergence control could probably offset the issue somewhat.

Yea, I can easily imagine that being a "sounds better than it looks" scenario. :P

Is getting the Disney Showcase disc for Working For Peanuts in 3D worth it?

It used to be on YT, the whole thing, that's where I grabbed it. But that was years ago. edit: just checked, it's 6:54 what I got.

FYI: I picked this up today on eBay for $16.99. There are a few other cheap copies on there right now, much better prices than I'd seen before.

I got my eBay copy in a couple days ago, $20.56 shipped. The cartoon itself I thought was ok, not quite as entertaining or clever as Hypnotic Hick or Boo Moon, but it was still a treat to watch in gloriously strong vintage native 3-D, fantastic depth and layering with a few awesome popouts, very glad to have it!
