Will of the Sons is a 2024 Serbian adventure science fiction film directed by Nemanja Ćeranić, based on the screenplay by Strahinja Madžarević.

Filming originally began in 2017, but was halted due to financial difficulties.

During 2022, production of the project will be taken over by Miloš Avramović and Aljoša Ćeranić's "Režim" company with the support of Telekom Srbija, and the film will be accompanied by a series of the same name in eight sequels.

The premiere of the film took place on November 26, 2024.
Plot
The Will of the Sons is a cycle of epic poems set in a post-apocalyptic future. It is a story of good and evil from the beginning to the present day; an epic adventure inspired by Serbian tradition in the distant future after a nuclear disaster. In a world without law and order, chaos and anarchy reign. The economy is based on commodity exchange, and the most valuable currency is the bullet.

The action takes place in the near, post-apocalyptic future, where a small community lives a secluded life on a farm: they work the land and pay city taxes. When the town demands a larger share of the bounty and the leader of the Aberdare community refuses to pay, the gang kills one of the members, Bosch, Aberdare's best friend. Aberdar's son, John, was chosen to avenge the death of their fallen brother.
