I purchased 4K Blues Brothers over the holidays. The disc was taken straight of the box and placed in the player (DP-UB820), I and was greeted with video graffiti about 42:30 minutes in. When I examined the disc, no fingerprints and no surface scratches. I did notice what looked like scratches underneath the surface. The surface was smooth though, and the "scratches" go with the curve of the disc.
I used a Universal Pictures Home Entertainment customer service web page to request a new disc. I believe I found it in a conversation about getting replacement DVDs. Would it be possible to get a replacement disc? Are there monitored websites providing such support? I'm still in my return window. Is it better to return the set? |
