Default Subwoofer need Unplug/Plug it to work

Hi Folk’s,

I left my HT System disconnected about a year all working fine. I reconnected again, when I turn on the system everything work fine except my Subwoofer. I have to unplugged and plug the RCA from the LFE input on the subwoofer to work. It’s in ON mode, tested with 2 cables and still the issue. The AVR is an Integra DRX Series. Any guidance will be appreciated.

Any chance your sub has a "stand-by" mode? Basically it would need a low enough frequency to be sent to "activate" the sub, otherwise, it remains in "stand-by". My subs will do this and the light on the back will remain red once I turn everything on......until a low enough frequency hits from whatever I am watching, then it activates and the light turns green.

I don't use the standby mode, I set OFF.

So, no base comes from the sub when you watch TV or a blu when you turn everything on and start watching. The only time the sub will work is when you take out the LFE input and put it back in first? And the sub is always "On" since you have the Automatic Power Switching function turned off, correct?

My subwoofers stay in stand-by. One thing - if the output signal/voltage from the source is not strong enough it will not power on.

Also like mentioned above the volume needs to be high enough to sense the freq signal/power up.
