Hell yeah. I'm all in on that. Wheels on Meals feels like the only other Hong Kong Jackie that would get a UHD now, at least the only other one I'm interested in

Very nice. Hopefully these are selling well enough to get a few of the more obscure releases from that era on UHD.

I know it won't happen but it would great if 88 Films included the Thai 5.1 dub from the recent Thai DVDs. I have it and was amazed how well done this dub was done. Voices were good to great, sound effects filled the soundstage, and it did not have the hollowness of many dubs. This would be a nice extra for fans.

I'm surprised these got 4K upgrades so soon after the 2K restorations were done, but I'm not complaining! Bring on more Jackie Chan in 4K!

This is exciting! My original Hong Kong dvd of Project A Part II is the reason I found out about Armour of God and my favorite Chan movie, Mr Canton and Lady Rose. Hopefully Mr Canton and Lady Rose follows sometime in 2024!

So, so beautiful. One of my favorite physical media covers ever.
Fans will know exactly where most of those poses are from. First timers will be in for something special as they learn.

Miracles is on Criterion's streaming service with a Janus look up front, so go ahead and make assumptions.

Sweet. Like to see the movies that Project A-ko derived its name from.

The 88 Films Mars interview done for Dragon Lord (also seen on Shout’s Volume 1 set) is among my favorite interviews on physical media. I love it so much because it goes into detail on some of the film’s smaller stunts that for decades were not questioned, and he tells stories in such a way that go way past the standard formalities in order to get to the heart of what it really felt like to be there.

I’m quite excited to see if Mars can provide new context to these Project A films too. And I am just losing my mind over this set in general.

I'm surprised no one's pointing out the big deal of the inclusion of the extended Taiwan cut, lol. The footage has only been previously available in woefully interlaced SD quality (pretty sure PAL-to-NTSC), and now bumped up to 4K.

EDIT: I forgot, the Eureka disc managed to have a proper de-interlaced version of these scenes as a bonus, but still in "gummy" looking SD regardless, lol.
