Disliked the changes from the book, but other than that I liked it well enough. Not sure if I need it in 4K. Maybe after a price drop.

That film was functionally a Twentieth Century Fox film, which DreamWorks only had certain distribution rights to. I believe Fox holds the film elements and created the video masters, which were then shared with Paramount.

I didn't love the changes to the book when I first saw the film, but with time, I've realized that they're kind of an improvement.

And, for me, this is one of the rare instances where I prefer the changes made for the movie. Especially the resolution. They came up with a rather clever way for the characters to use their legal know-how to get out of their predicament, whereas the book has a cliched "escape to a desert island" cop-out.

Crushing. If that’s the case for sure RE Minority Report’s elements, I’ll just buy a spare copy of the old blu ray, hold a short funeral service, and move on.

Oh well. The Firm, yay….! That’ll do just fine in 4k.
