Interesting. Maybe this is a remake?

I saw the 1982 The Beast Within earlier this year (or late 2023) and was entertained by the special gory effects and horror, about a guy who slowly turns into a monster in a forest town. It's actually on

The final act and all of the carnage really helped the movie IMO.

So just watched the 2024 movie. It’s an interesting tale with an unreliable narrator but it does take too long to it’s built up and reveal IMHO.

finally watch this. the film has some pretty sceneries but it's quite boring to me
