Default Zack Snyder LAPD Action Thriller

Zack Snyder to Direct, Co-Write LAPD Action Thriller for Netflix (Exclusive)
No laser-shooting rebels, brain-eating zombies or bone-breaking caped crusaders in this one, folks.

Quote:
Specific details are being kept in lock-up, but the action thriller is being described as being set in the high-stakes world of life and death and centered on an elite LAPD unit that is relentlessly confronted with the unforgiving collision of law and morality.

Cool. Somewhat concerned that he's co-writer on the screenplay, as his best films are usually not ones he writes, but glad to see him tackle a non-fantasy setting.

Alright! Sounds good. Too bad it’s for Netflix which means no physical release. I’d love to own Rebel Moon.

Happy to see that the 3rd live-action project is his 3rd decades in the making idea finally realized and the new head of film himself approached Snyder to make the film but I also want Planet of the Dead. Not instead of another passion project but in between one.

The project originally began right after 9/11 and Snyder wanted to make his SWAT team so badass that such cops would get to drink for free in bars after the filmīs release. His brain long left that headspace, even Frank Miller wised up by now, but this film will have the most epic door breach of all time. No question there. Snyder was into CoD Warzone before Fortnine claimed him and recreationally shoots guns with his most well-known son. He will feel like Axel Braun on set every day. Kool Kops are his porn. I imagine The Shield x Michael Bay will be the motto.

Is this one going to be a multi tier project that fizzles out and is abandoned. Hopefully they are just trying to do one movie, then await and see what the response is.

Call me a dumb movie bro if you want, but I enjoy (most) Snyder's movies. Looking forward to this one.

A lot of crazy stuff in this post, but just to single one moment out, why prioritise his children from most to least known?

I'm loving his Netflix run so far, so I'm happy he's making more.

I like 2000s Zack Snyder, yet to see any of the Rebel Moons.

Sounds interesting. I'm optimistic. Glad to see Snyder doing something a little bit more grounded and lower budget now. His last 3 movies were disappointing. I did like Rebel Moon part 1 but as a 2 movie series it was ultimately disappointing.

I hope this is his next project instead of the UFC movie that was reported a month or two ago.
