Huge release here, the surround mix is wonderful but the fidelity is very lacking on streaming platforms. 48 tracks mixed into Atmos by Greg Penny, includes the 51 tracks found on the stereo versions (3CD set) in high res stereo also.

This release is exclusive to SDE, so it won’t be sold by any retailers. It will likely show up eventually on eBay and Discogs.

I like that song also-but I think if you ask an Elton John fan his favorite song or name 20 Elton John songs-that wouldn't automatically jump to mind.

Can you add this & the recent Bronski Beat "Age of Consent" SDE exclusive to the database? Tried a few days ago, kept hanging up on the "studio" drop down menu. UPC on the Bronski is 5-061017-252047.

Considering how good the 5.1 mixes of Elton John's albums have been, I think this is going to be a standout. I imagine they will start with the 5.1 mix and build on that. But there are some newer albums and singles that were never released on SACD that they will be mixing from scratch. It will be interesting to compare.

All the Diamonds Atmos mixes were released a couple years ago on streaming services (Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal). Also other Elton albums in Atmos inc. Too Low for Zero (never released in 5.1) and GBYBR

Got mine yesterday and listened to about half the songs last night. The Atmos sounds great to me, but then the SACDs previously released were already great multi-channel releases. It's nice to have so many songs included, as far as I know, that were not previously released on disc.
