Default Allied Vaughn is apparently bringing many OOP former Fox titles back into print

https://www.moviezyng.com/all.aspx

Give it a look, sort by most recent products. Tons of former Fox 4K titles just got added.

I even see a random season of Simpsons.

Now if only we could get Disney/Fox to start releasing classic blu-rays.

OMG that season 19 of the simpsons!!! It goes for a lot of money since they didn’t press hardly any!

And its the only season I needed for my collection 1-20 that is.

Looks like season 19 of the Simpsons DVD set they started selling back in October.

Curious if they do the same style case as it was originally released in.

I just placed an order so I’ll post once it delivers.

This might be a dumb question, but can we be sure Allied Vaughn is actually printing these and that MovieZyng Warehouse isn't just being used as a dumping ground for stock? I notice with the Disney Movie Club exclusives in particular, all the ones I recall having gone out of stock before they closed aren't here, but ones which were still available to the end are (for example, MZ doesn't have the '98 Parent Trap on Blu-ray but they do have '61).

If it is remaining DMC stock that they're selling now, I suppose best case scenario is that these are the ones going up first for that reason, and that others will be along once they're ready to print them. I realize it would be odd if MovieZyng wanted to push stock of anything Allied Vaughn isn't committed to printing.

These would have to be reprintings or at the very least, repackagings with new art to remove the Disney Movie Rewards/Insiders advertisements. So Sony and Disney’s deal has actually led to a major shift of how Disney is approaching physical media now.

Oh but Sony does not have that influence and Disney does not work with MOD. This must be fake.

Very interesting to see so many former Disney Movie Club DVD exclusives get repressed... I'm interested if we will see wider releases of their former blu-ray offerings. What I would love to see is new pressings of the 20th Century Fox Studios Classics line.

I hope these former DMC re-releases will use the new 4K master that have been/are being created for Disney+.

I'm pretty sure they won't. Most likely scenario is that they're simply repressing the old discs, exactly as they were.

Saves Disney money to do this, that’s what Mill Creek gets to distribute: repressed or repackaged product.

A Member posted on the Simpsons DVD forum that they ordered a copy and seems to be overstock from Disney / Fox and not new pressings that their copy didn't arrive in best shape.

Mine should deliver in the next couple of days.

Looks like the entire Fox Cinema Archives DVD line is back. Hopefully they reissue the 4 titles they put out on Blu-ray.

I’ve paid out the ass for 3 of the 4, still waiting for Sitting Pretty.

Could have gotten them all for cheap at that point where MovieZyng was selling them for a short bit a few years ago, but they had them on the site as BDR so I emailed them before ordering. They canceled, but likely would have shipped had I taken the risk and ordered the moment I saw them on the site.
