Default Hulu $.99 a month for 12 months, YMMV possibly Disney+ (with ads) for $2 a month

deal link to Hulu's partnership with Good Morning America (in code because blu-ray linking breaks the link):
Code:
 https://www.hulu.com/gma
New and returning subscribers are eligible for Hulu with ads at a rate of $.99 monthly for 12 months. Auto-renews at $7.99 monthly after 12 months.

After subscribing, certain members are eligible for Disney+ with ads for $2 monthly as an add-on. You get this after subscribing to Hulu and you're taken to the add-on page. And no, I don't know who is eligible for the Disney+ offer beforehand.

I'm getting the option to choose Disney+ for an additional $2 but not sure if I should add it, Isn't Disney+ and Hulu becoming one streaming service next year what would be the point of paying for it

It'd probably be more expensive than $2.99/month to sign up then.

You'll still need a Hulu subscription to access Hulu content, the services will merely be merged into the app/service (beta testing in December, full launch next Spring).

I really don't need another streaming service, but $0.99 is too good to turn down. Just need to watch one movie a month to make it worthwhile. Since HBO and Fox ended their movie sharing most new Fox movies end up on Hulu only. A Haunting in Venice will be my first watch.

By the way I was offered $2 Disney and 0.99 Starz (for 6 months). Stuck to just Hulu. Already have Disney with no ads, and there doesn't seem to be much on Starz to even make it worth the $1.

I only show the $2 Disney+ plan with ads as an add on. Does anyone know if they still offer the 2.99 Disney plus with no ads after signing up?

My year of cheap hulu + disney+ (no ads) is ending this weekend, but if they are only offering with ads as an add on, then f that, rather unsubscribe

My Hulu subsctiption expired about a week ago but when I try to access the deal it keeps showing $7.99 as the renew price. Anyone having the same issue? I could always create a new account but would prefer not to

Thank you soooooo much ! I've been waiting for this Hulu deal. I also got the Max with ads for $2.99 per month for six months (saw it as a new deal today).

For me, Haunting is the best out of the K. Branagh three. Really enjoyed it.

You can't add the no ads add on with a new account, but if you have it on an existing account you can keep it (for now).

I read that people are making new accounts. Even though the offer also said "returning customers" (those with expired subscriptions) it seems like it's not working for you, unless yours already renewed for a month. In fact, you said "your subscription expired" but AFAIK your DEAL may expire but the subscription never expires until you cancel it.

That said, if you have the $7 off $9.99+ Amex offer with no expiration, letting the old promo expire and paying $7.99 and keeping the Disney+ no ads add on works out better than this new deal.

New or returning. I used the same email that I had let expire last year. You could go back to the email before your current one. That’s my plan for peacock if they drop an offer later this week.

The fine print (terms) for returning folks says something like you have to be more than one month unsubscribed to get the 99 cents deal.

Subscribers within the past 30 days don't count as a new or returning subscriber. Because Professor Knowby's subscription expired a week ago, he'd have to logout and then create a new account.

I got in on the same deal and I literally rewatched X-Men Animated Series on disney + once and nothing else for the entire year. . With Hulu I streamed The Bear and maybe a movie or two. So not even worth what I paid each month and I kept putting off canceling because "i'd watch something eventually". I think I would have watched more on Hulu if there were no ads though but they'd probably never offer a no ads deal anytime soon. I'd be surprised if they did.

And anyone thinking about getting Starz. Same deal as above for me - got what I thought was a great yearly deal last year and watched maybe a movie or two. Nothing much on that service that's worth it.

I wish some of the services would offer deals like that with an ad-free plan. Regardless of how cheap, I know I'd end up getting aggravated with the ads and probably stop watching by February.
