Had this on laserdisc back in the day. I can't remember anything in regards to specific scenes or anything much beyond that I was enchanted by the vibe of it. I'm pretty sure it was something I caught at the theater first, too.

I'm a sucker for character's reminiscences of childhood joys that then grow into adult preoccupations- and I could be wrong, but I think that was part of the story with this.

This wasn't a title I would ever have thought to ask for at this point, but boy am I looking forward to seeing it again now.

Saw this at the Cinema upon release, lovely film & so pleased it’s getting a release at last
