Default Bet there will be an Amazon lightning deal for HD DVD players
With the announcement from Toshiba, the many retailers that have stockpiles of HD DVD players will need some way to get rid of their stock. Since there won't be anymore movies released on HD DVD, then there is no real reason to buy an HD DVD player.

They are currently more expensive than upconverting DVD players. So I ask the question, "If or when do you think Amazon will have a deal of the day or lightning deal on some HD DVD players?"

After all, they did do a similar one with the Xbox 360 add on.
