Just bought both. Prices were ridiculous but I knew I would regret it if they sold out.

I also bought them. The $26.99 price is a little high, especially for Streetwalkin', since that's not a double feature, but at least they were kind enough to not make them $24.99 each and then force you to buy a third item to get $0.01 more for free shipping. Plus, each film has its extras from the Shout! DVDs, which is good.

Not that I have anything against Jackson County Jail, but I would have strongly preferred to get Caged Heat on its own this time. However, the new 2K scan should hopefully be nice.

Grabbed them, missed out on a few of the limited to 1,000 a few years ago and regret that, but not this time.

Also, do you think that studios are releasing more back catalog since there aren't new movies out now to sell, so they are dipping in to get the money?

Snatched these two up as well. I think these are priced at the same price their earlier website limited edition exclusives were some years back (Deathstalker 1 + 2, Message From Space, The Velvet Vampire, Timewalker, was there a fifth one?)

I don't mind spending a bit more for some of these to get them out there at all. If website exclusives is how they want to proceed with their Corman stuff, that's great, keep 'em coming!

Stay out of the Ronin Flix thread with that attitude. I posted I was frustrated by being a penny short for free shipping and all the Ronin Flix defenders and apologists ripped me a new one.

Def. more into the double feature disc (CAGED HEAT is pretty cool and I quite like JACKSON COUNTY JAIL), but grabbed STREETWALKIN' because a) it beats paying for shipping, and b) eh why not, this is the idiotic path I lead.

Shout Factory's free shipping threshold is $50 whereas Ronin is only $30. So if you had only wanted to buy one movie you'd be in the same situation you were complaining about in the Ronin thread.

Except I never and would never buy from Shout.

My objection was more to the email Ronin sent me, a heretofore loyal customer of theirs, telling me rather rudely that they didn't care if it was only a penny short. I either pay for shipping, buy more or shop somewhere else. But if you were one of the people yelling and name calling me on the Ronin thread, you know all this already. They lost me as a customer. Period. If you enjoy buying from Ronin and Shout, my not doing so shouldn't affect that at all.
