As I am sure I am not the only one who gets enjoyment watching the LLWS tournament, we now have a thread.
I love the way the kids play, the heart, the raw energy, the genuine emotion when they win big games. That being said we now have our first controversy regarding it. Apparently the Venezuelan team was denied Visa entry into USA for tournament. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...n/85387672007/ Please do not make this political, but it is sad these kids will not be able to compete due a travel ban imposed on their country. I feel bad as there is nothing like working your ass off for something only for it to be torn from under you outside of your control. The team has been replaced by another from Mexico, so there is no way even if resolved they could compete. |
