Default Should I use a Dehumidifiers or just overkill?

Apologies if discussed previously.

Does anyone use Dehumidifiers in the room they store their physical media in?

I have an office in the house where all my physical media is. The house is in good condition, we don't get damp in the house or anything like that. We put the central hearing on when its cold to air the room out.

However, should I get a cheap little Dehumidifier or is it just a waste of money?

Just curious if anyone else has one or any thoughts on it.

Cheers.

Depends on what the humidity level is in your home/room. Central heating during the winter will dry out the air, but some areas have more humidity than others.
