What a random movie to decide to put on 4K.

Never seen it though so will probably check out Kino’s UHD when it comes out.

Always thought ... The Best of Times .. with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell was better than this one.

And we still don't even have a blu for it yet.

A very odd and random choice, but a welcome one nonetheless. That being said, I was kind of hoping the 70s 4k title was Paper Moon.

I'm not sure why this would be considered a "random" choice. It's one of the finest sports movies ever made and has never received a post-DVD release of any kind in NA.

Skips blu-ray and goes right to 4K and I’m okay with that.

And of course I imported the Imprint blu ray last month. Oh well, the picture quality on that is inconsistent. Will gladly add this to my collection.

I couldn't agree more. The Best of Times is a very good film. I'm hoping that it gets a blu-ray release at some point. Survivors is another under appreciated comedy with Robin Williams.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I even think... The Best of Times ... is better than ... The Longest Yard .. and... Wildcats.

Either Universal or Lionsgate has the rights I think.

Film was written by Ron Shelton too.

I actually own a #87 replica jersey for North Dallas' wide-receiver Phillip Elliot (Nick Nolte's character).

Yeah, I'm pretty much ecstatic this is coming to 4K!!!

I can’t even find it on iTunes. I’ve only been able to pick up a crappy DVD of it. Not sure what the hold up on it is because I swear there was an HD version of it on Netflix that I watched a few years ago. Such an underrated film.

It's on youtube right now for free.

And it's also Robin Williams's funniest film IMO.

Kurt Russell made this and ..Big Trouble in Little China ...both in 1986. Two classics in one yr.

Been wanting to see this. Best of Times is one that could really use an upgrade since the dvd wasn't even anamorphic.
