Glad this is finally coming out. Not going to pay $20 to watch this on VOD, but will pay that for a Blu-ray.

Got to see it in the theatre before they closed. Enjoyed it. I wish they'd release the blu ASAP.

I would think Universal would be that way, you’re kinda paying the same price for a blu ray as you would for VOD. It’s not like it’s going to break the studios budget by releasing it early on disc

I just saw this in the theater over the weekend and I really liked it a lot. It was much funnier than I had anticipated, and really was a great time at the movies.

It takes equal (and humorous) jabs at both sides of the isle, and if you're willing to laugh at yourself, then you should enjoy this one quite a bit.

I went to see this with two of my cousins. One, who is the opposite of me politically, and another who doesn't care about politics at all. All three of us laughed a LOT during the film, and had nothing negative to say about it afterward.

I hope this one doesn't go under the radar due to the current health situation. I sincerely feel it deserves attention.

Had plans to see this Monday at 3pm eastern, skipping the 1:10 to go have lunch sit-down one last time as they had announced restaurants were closing at 3. They shut down the theater with a 2:45 Bloodshot being the last thing playing. The 3pm show was listed at 1:00 then gone by 1:45.

Agreed! I was actually going to rent it, but when I saw that price, I figured I would just wait for the BD release.

yeah the virus totally tanked the B.O. for this (even for Emma too and anything else)
many theaters were still open for a few days but a lot people, self included, were mostly prepping for things and then a bit leery and then the theaters all closed

good movie for sure. I really liked Betty Gilpin's character. I also really enjoyed "The Invisible Man (2020) with Elisabeth Moss, which was great. Both of these are 4k UHD Blu-ray purchases for me. I already per-ordered The Invisible Man(2020) off amazon.

Both this and The Invisible Man were definitely worth it. I figured I would like Invisible Man but I wasn't too sure about The Hunt. I definitely ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would and count me as another who thought Betty Gilpin was freakin' awesome.

I don’t need everything told to me. Rambo: First Blood simply had a Vietnam veteran get harrassed by local police. The audience still doesn’t even get the whole backstory during the final act. Before the sequels, audiences only knew John Wick was the most feared assassin on Earth. All we knew is he walked away when he fell in love. The murder of his puppy broke him emotionally and well, there he is killing everyone.

Actually not true in First Blood they say he is a Green Baret and recieved countles metal of honors. We knew Wick was very Deadly too when Alfie's character told his father who he had pissed off.
[Show spoiler]She was so calm through all this like she knew what was going on even though she was the wrong one and she took out peole like They were nothing and just because of a pack of cigarettes having a steeper price she knew right away about that gasstation couple.
just too much i think.

In defense of the film, the entire thing was intentionally "too much". The films ability to make fun of its self by being intentionally hilarious in ways that more serious films would have become self parody and unintentionally funny.

The entire setup, plot, and transpiring events (especially some of the deaths) are all over the top on purpose. I believe the intention of the film was to lampoon the current state of politics in the USA, and on that account, it succeeds 100%.

Don't think too hard, and don't take any of it seriously. It's not meant to be that type of film.
