Zavvi USA only sell UK releases now been that way for over a year

Tempted to import this and don’t mind paying a premium here but feel if I do a US version will then be announced. I really wish studios would start announcing all versions up front so we can make educated purchase decisions.

This 100%. I had decided to import Zack Snyder's Justice League because it had been a month or two since the UK release had been released, only for them to announce the US release like the following week.

I still kept the UK release for that. I'm holding off until they announce a US release for Penguin. Haven't seen the show yet, but I'm not subscribing to Max right now and unknown if I will again, so I'd rather wait for a UHD/BD release.

I preordered the regular U.S. 4k but depending on what the artwork to this looks like I might get it instead.

So no Steelbook announcement coupled with the US 4K & BD release. I’ll probably end up regretting it but I’m not sure I’m gonna wait much longer to import this.

The 4K release is being done through MOD in the US, so no Steelbook will be released.

Love it! Price is steep but content wise as a series it’s equivalent to around 4 movies in length so I’m willing to pay a bit more on this one.

While I realize this one isn't getting a steelbon for the usa, most of these places know what they're doing and it's by design.

Look at what happened with the original Twister as an example: that had three staggered releases, and some people wound up triple dipping because of the way they announced and staggered the releases, including the collector's edition.

Considering the lead time to make these, they know what they're doing.
