Same. This is my stance on the Fast and Furious films as well. Waiting until the last one releases for a complete box set.

Tom Cruise will keep making MI films for as long as they keep being profitable I think. In that tweet McQuarrie said they already have items for where the series will go next.

I don’t see any bonus disc… It’s either UHD bd100 or HD bd50 or bb steel book has both. Apparently paramount has gotten cheap too by no longer including the HD disc with the UHD purchase.

Screw these digital only exclusives extras. Bragging about supporting the theatrical experience. But still feeding the digital streaming world with these exclusives.

Yeah, the digital only special features is disappointing.

ETA

Just want to double check. The steelbook includes both the 4K movie disk and the Blu Ray movie disk plus the special features disk, right?

I don't have 4K so if the steelbook doesn't include the Blu Ray movie disk, it's no good to me and I'll have to return it.

Most (all?) of the special features aside from the commentary & digital only bits seem to be the promo featurettes currently on Paramount's youtube channel. How lame.

McQuarrie's commentaries are always good though.

ps. F you Paramount for the digital only extras.

Do non-UHD threads still matter or is everyone at the UHD ones these days? If the latter, is everyone into 4k or is just there to have everything in one place?

Well, for the ones of us in the 2k crowd (assuming there's still a crowd) here's the BDInfo. Same audio/subs tracks as the 4k with the addition of Japanese.

The disc was full.
But you are right, though.

They could have put the digital only extras on there as well, but they want to pull us into the realm of digital only
