Default Ultraman figures

I just fell upon a nice discovery. Turns out the US Bandai Namco series (re-releases of Japan's Ultra Action line) is continuing past the 1st 3 (OK, 4 counting Emi) Rise figures.

I was about to pull the trigger on Ace & Baltan at Amazon direct from Japan when I noticed they paired Baltan with the US release of Zetton, so I abandoned my purchase in case they decide to upgrade Baltan's paint in a US release in the future--doubtful as that is.

Zetton & Arc are the newest wave and they have dropped the Rise banner from the packaging. I'm ecstatic to see the line is continuing in the US and especially that we are getting a classic kaiju already. Hope the series does well and continues.

P.S.
This thread is open to other Ultraman lines as well.

I grabbed the first wave last summer, interested in picking up more. It's nice to have a affordable action figure line (including the Godzilla side), and in US stores as well, even if the figures aren't as good as higher end options.

I agree. If I had the cash I'd go for some SH Figuarts figures, but this line is way to vast for me to keep up at those prices. I was really close to buying SH Zoffy as there are some great deals on Alliance Entertainment's (Deep Discount, Popmarket...) Ebay stores right now as part of the B2G 20% off sales where you can get him in the $30 range. Some of the SH Arc variants are even cheaper than that.

The kaiju for the Ultra Action line look better (not as spindly) as the Ultras in my opinion, so I'm even more excited for those. It does seem kind of cruel that the 1st release moving forward is for the kaiju
[Show spoiler]who killed Ultraman--twice!
Ha!

I haven't bought any of the recent figures but have an extensive collection of 80s & 90s Bandai figures.

That would've been cool. Were those on store shelves at the time? I don't recall ever seeing any Ultraman product anywhere and the original was a childhood favorite. Heck, I didn't even know there were other Ultraman series until Amazon had the Australian show on DVD in the early-mid 00s, and then that there was so much more IP until Millcreek starting putting the BR out.
