Default Batman 1943 and 1949 movie serials on BD?

I wish they’d release these old DC movie serials; Batman, Superman, Captain Marvel, Captain Midnight and their sequels. Have any movie serials been released on BD?

My favorite parts of the old Batman serials is how Batman always drives around in Bruce Wayne's car...and when he is point blank asked why he has Bruce's car, he says" He lets me borrow it" lol. And no one catches on that Bruce Wayne is Batman...also I love the floppy bat ears and how the whole ensemble looks like it was sewn together by someone's grandmother who maybe had a little bit to much Scotch at the time

Dude, yes, I love these old serials. They were inspiration for the Adam West series. Batman and Robin constantly call each other Bruce and Dick while in costume, they get their asses handed to them by criminals constantly, many non-PC dialogue in the first one regarding the Japanese. In the second one, at one point, Batman actually pulls out a blow torch from his utility belt . Awesome.

Some firsts in the 1943 one too such as first appearance of Alfred and the Bat Cave (here called the Bat’s Cave.)

I really like the Superman serials too, particularly the 1950 one. First Lex Luther on film and the Phantom Zone (or the Empty Doom as it’s called here.)

Captain Marvel is on another level though and much better quality. As someone said it’s probably the best movie serial ever made.

I don't own either, but I'm pretty sure the Kino release has the better transfer.
