I was checking out Zavvi if they had it up for pre-order and when I typed in 'the Others' a suggestion popped up saying 'The Others Zavvi Exclusive' and 'The Others Exclusive Limited'. No listing though.

Could be another Ltd Edition coming.....

That cover is so bad. The title treatment doesn't fit with the tone of the movie at all.

I assume Looking Back might be the same “new making-of program featuring Amenábar, actors Nicole Kidman and Christopher Eccleston, and producer Fernando Bovaira” from the Criterion release, which also features an additional commentary and conversation.

I don’t have an issue with the artwork, think I might prefer it to the minimalism of the face in darkness on the Criterion.

I like the artwork too. It reminds me of a picture that accompanied those old ghost stories in the early 20th century.

The font makes it look like a 1970s demonic possession film or something.

Tbh it sorta reminds me of the font for The Omen.

Criterion art is way better IMO.

The font is just kind of hokey to me. Like a Tim Burton movie, or maybe something from Laika. I swear there's a movie with this exact font style, but I can't think of it right now.

I was expecting this to get the big box treatment. Hopefully that's what this is pointing towards.

EDIT: Could be because of a previously released Zavvi exclusive steelbook.

I don't know how about you, but I think that this font is perfectly suitable for the photo and movie.

It reminds me a little of Indiana Jones movies. xD

Not liking the cover art for this one; it’s not giving me the right vibes for the film itself. Also, this looks to be missing some features included on the Criterion, like the audition footage and deleted scenes.

If anything maybe Fidelity In Motion is handling this one?
