Halloween is right around the corner...

So that means that we'll probably be seeing some horror catalog titles soon! What's on your wishlist for 2010?


My list:

• I'm very pleased to see that Hitchcock's Psycho is coming this year. I would be thrilled if Universal would also release its underrated sequels Psycho II & III. While Universal's at it, I'd like to see They Live and a Halloween II & III double feature as well.
  
• MGM has been good about releasing catalog titles recently. It would be nice to see Jeepers Creepers, Bubba Ho-Tep, Leviathan, and the '78 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers from them.
  
• New Line would be smart to finally release the Blade trilogy. I'd also like to see In the Mouth of Madness from them.
  
• While the Cronenberg version of The Fly has been out for a while, Fox should go ahead and release The Fly II with Eric Stoltz as well. Dead Ringers would be great if Criterion doesn't still have the rights.
  
• The Mothman Prophecies from Sony.
  
• Anchor Bay/Starz hasn't released much recently. I'd like C.H.U.D. and Phantasm.
  
• Shadow of the Vampire from Lionsgate.
  
• Magic with Anthony Hopkins from Dark Sky Films.

Fright Night will probably be released when the remake comes out next year. 2 of the Puppetmaster films come out on July 27th.

I really want Mothman Prophecies and John Carpenter's Vampires. Further down the list would be The Devil's Advocate (somewhere between drama and horror) and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978). Oh, and Them! (1954) as well. I mean what's better than gigantic mutated ants?

Since the remake will presumably be hitting Blu-ray this fall, I'd like to see the rest of the Elm St. series get a release.

Suspiria would be awesome.

I'd also like to see more of the Texas Chain Saw Massacre series on Blu-ray.

Either way, hopefully we'll see lots of announcements in the next couple months for stuff hitting around Halloween.

According to this guy he got an e-mail from Anchor Bay saying they were working on Evil Dead, Phantasm, Re-Animator and Hellbound Hellraiser II. Take it for what it's worth. I had heard about Evil Dead and Phantasm elsewhere, but Re-Animator and Hellraiser II are welcome additions.

That would be good news but I just hope they release all of the Phantasm's as parts 2 & 3 are my fav. But its a start so Im cool with that! Got Em!!

Nice list and some good bring ups. Castle Freak is very rare and a lot of people dont know about that one. Also Dead Silence was actually pretty good. Also I never seen Creep but I really want to so hopefully that drops also. Got Em!!

Wrong movie. That's Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday. You have it backwards with Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. Which, btw would've been a much better movie if it wasn't full of lame one liners and Freddy didn't look like a muppet.
