I already have my very nice German 2 disc release (dual cover, one with censorship logos and one without -nice touch) but it's always good to see the UK catch up! Listed by Amazon UK as 1 disc. I assume an error.

Not a fan of In Cold Blood but it's a nice extra and I got mine for 9 euro which was no bad thing

Capote is great film.

They weren't in the US edition and, judging by the picture of the case a few posts above, they aren't in this one either.

Should be evident it's a dual case ie 2 discs in one standard 14mm case.

My Germany release is 11mm but I'd assume the UK has 14mm.

I watched these two films for English at College, and while they were extremely interesting, I'm pretty unsure whether I would pick this up as I don't think I could sit through either of them again.

I'll see though.

looks like this title has gone OOP in the US.
really wish Sony would get off their a#@ and release Capote by itself.
EDIT: went ahead and ordered a copy from an amazon.uk seller for under $20.
(it's over $40 on amazon.US)

Yeah, these films have nothing really to do with each other -I realise they're off the same story but so is Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Psycho. Not a good boxset and I can't imagine too many people liking both in the same sort of way.

Very odd they put them together. I didn't like buying In Cold Blood but got it for €7,99 so can't complain.

yeah it was stupid of Sony to release one separately without the other.
It's like "well I don't want to spend money on In Cold Blood by itself if I will only be able to get Capote on that double disc forever.
not very good planning by someone imo.

very likely.
only about 5% of the Sony bds are locked according to the regioncode site, so the odds are very good.

Just letting you know that you can buy it cheaper than that. 101cd.com has it and you can buy it for about $15US:

I'm not sure if you can cancel your order but if you want to save a few extra dollars then it's an option. I purchased it from them in December. Have watched Capote but not In Cold Blood as of yet.

Interesting,I enjoyed the film but it was PSH performance which kept me going,without him it wouldn't have been the same.

The unavailable issue with "In Cold Blood" actually makes a very good double pack.

I was close to picking up Capote in Cex recently for £6 but thought I would prefer the double pack with Cold Blood,the price in the UK for that release is extortionate to say the least but I just found a seller on ebay who has Finnish copies delivered for £4.99......bargain indeed.
