This actually my least favorite of the OT, but I'm still looking forward to it. The 4K on Disney+ is only ,"okay", so I'm hoping the disc is better.

I wonder if bonus features will be included on the blu ray, or if both discs will just have the movie. It would be a shame if you have to only buy the box set to get the bonus features, if there are any.

Super duper. I figured we'd be seeing the individual releases but it's still nice to see confirmation. I'm definitely passing on the prequels but I may still pick up the OT though I'm tempted to hold out in the off-chance we get the unaltered version some day.

Disney sure know how to stretch a dollar/milk a cow. But at least this does give some flexibility for the folks out there who only want particular films of the series.

Whatever features are already on the Blu. This is gonna be the same disc already released. Doubt they will put any extras on the 4k.

Even if the extras are not on the 4K individual discs, that’s fine. I mean we pay for the movies in 4K, not for 4K images of Mark Hamill or George Lucas talking in interviews.

I hope the actual 4k HDR movies discs are graded correctly in HDR, unlike their streaming 4K counterparts on Disney +

Disney isnt really a big fan of DV on disc. TLJ and Black Panther are the only 2 I can think of.

The box set listings have two standard Blu-ray discs per film (film + bonus content) and a 4K disc when applicable, so if there's only two discs for the individual 4K releases, it's likely that a lot of bonus content isn't included.

We still don't know what's on those bonus discs in the set. Until we do it's all speculation.

I'd be shocked if these aren't just the Disney+ versions put on disk

D*mn. Artwork looks great. Makes me want to get all 11 movies if they have this type of artwork rather than the box set.

Though that would make the steelbooks kind of superfluous.

Nearly every studio has a bunch of 4K movies that stream in Dolby Vision but only have standard HDR10 on disc. And you can say the same for every single Disney UHD with the exception of two movies. Would have been a real shock if these actually had DV.

Still gonna be odd if TLJ is the only movie out of the 9 that has DV on disc though, unless they redo it to feature the apparently 'sweetened' D+ grade but do it as HDR10 only?
