Germany Any reviews for Moon 44?

Since it should be out now I wonder if there are any reviews out? I remember watching it on VHS and liking it a lot A B-classic from Roland Emmerich.

Its a pity Moon 44 is in a 3 pack with 2 other movies that I'm not interested in. At 26.99 Euros, I will have to wait till it comes down in price

Here's some original art

Just watched it. Great b-action with a lots of known actors. Holds up really well with nice 2.35:1 picture and lossless 2.0. They have watched Aliens a lot from the designs. Think I saw on VHS in 4:3 when I was young so a big step up

We need more Cannon movies!

For those interested in the Roland Emmerich Blu-ray Box Collection, all movies played fine on my native Region A, except for the "Making Contact" disc which the player spits out right away.

Moon 44: English Audio / optional German subtitles.
Ghost Chase: German Theatrical Version / German Audio only / No English subtitles.
Ghost Chase: U.S. Theatrical Version / SD (1.85:1/16:9) / English Audio / optional German subtitles.
Making Contact: German Theatrical Version / German Audio only / No English subtitles.
Making Contact: U.S. Theatrical Version / SD (2.35:1/Letterboxed) / English Audio / hardcoded German subtitles.

Thanks for the info. I definitely want Moon 44 but wouldn't mind having the other movies as well. Not sure I can justify it with one disc that won't work and one that isn't English friendly on the full version. Hopefully they put them out separately.

I should also note that the included U.S. SD versions of Ghost Chase and Making Contact are in rather rough condition, they almost look like ports from a VHS source.
It shall remain a mystery why Universum decided not to give the U.S. version of Making Contact the 16:9 enhancement. This isn't the dark ages. I don't own the Anchor Bay DVD of Making Contact but I'm pretty sure it was presented with 16:9.

agh cool, thanks for the heads up
moon 44 is a cool sf movie, ghost chase is a lil gem of a movie , pure 80's cult with half the cats of night of the creeps and joey making contact is a so so yet interesting directorial debut of Emmerich.
