I think Scary Movie 1-3 had legitimately funny segments, but in between those segments could sometimes be painfully dull/unfunny. I'd definitely check out a "reboot" if the right team gets involved. I stopped watching them (and the other Super Hero Movie, etc) after Scary Movie 4.

This is great news, but it could end up being absolutely terrible if it tries to walk on eggshells so not to upset "modern audiences"

I was talking to a co worker recently about how comedy is dead and you cant make funny movies anymore because of how offended everyone is over everything. We shall see.

Yes bring back the humor of films such as Police Academy, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, Tommy Boy, Major League, Cannon Ball Run. Comedy with more substance than crude, rude, and insulting.

Really hope this release inspires a new remastered set of the films. 1 especially looks terrible on antique master, and 4 is missing a commentary thats on the DVD AND HD DVD

Ideally Shout/Scream would release a fun set but I will take anything

I agree with variety, there isn't enough different kinds of comedy now days for sure.
