Submitted for your approval: The 8th in a series of random-year polls honoring the rich history of World Cinema, and finding the forum's favorite non-English language films of all-time.
The endeavor here is to choose films with absolutely none, or a very bare minimum, of English being spoken. That means not including most British, Australian, English Canadian or New Zealand films, unfortunately. In any case, any feedback or discussion about these World Cinema titles would still be greatly appreciated. Another strong year for international cinema - The Great Beauty was the Academy's choice, and Blue Is the Warmest Colour won over Cannes. What say you? Cheers, and thanks for participating! |
