I'm really excited for this one. I quite enjoyed Age of Calamity and the original Hyrule Warriors. I just wish they had voice acting during the battles like in the cutscenes of Age of Calamity. It's REALLY hard to focus on reading the side text when playing a warriors game.

Oh, and a Switch 2 patch for Age of Calamity would be nice.

I heard that this is being talked about for a switch 2 upgrade - hopefully bundled in with the expansion pack.

This is a great game that should get a nice upgrade - lets also get the fire emblems upgraded and then we should have a great time.

I would LOVE a Three Houses upgrade. An amazing game that is hamstrung by looking pretty awful on anything north of say a 50" 1080p tv.

I plan on buying this, but if it's a Game Key Card I'm just not going to. The console isn't even out yet and I'm already so disappointed because the majority of "physical" games are GKC releases (and there are also Code in a Box releases, too). :/

It’s a Nintendo IP, 0% chance it isn’t a regular game card.

We changed it to Nintendo Switch 2 midway through, and just by transferring what we had been creating up until then to Nintendo Switch 2, the number of enemies that appeared and the frame rate changed dramatically, and the game simply became a lot more fun. We were also surprised at how much the game’s fun could change thanks to the hardware.”

I'm happy to read this, a "Warriors" game can definitely take advantage of the extra graphics and processing power.

They definitely heard the feedback from Age of Calamity based on them stressing it is canonical.

I didn’t mind AoC being an alternate history though because it was a good story with great character interactions.
