I don't trust Geek Gab either, but that pic looks legit. The film was just released in 4K digitally from Lionsgate on July 6th, so this seems to be in line with SC's plans to do home video releases here too. I'm sure there will be regular editions too.

The guy who runs it is an ass hat, but he does post credible information for the most part. He wouldn't post this if he didn't have a reliable source as it would hurt their credibility.

But he has no credibility, after posting numerous fake covers and misinformation about titles that never came.

On the art front at least, those fake covers use existing art. This piece is actually uses original art never seen before as well as giving us a street date making it likely real versus just saying something like coming 2021 or 2022.

As for him being credible or not, people follow him for a reason. They have been wrong plenty of times, but most of their info has been correct, otherwise their account would be useless.

Either way, Ran seems like something that is happening.

"Credibility"? Really? The guy who claims that he was "Voted #1 Industry Insider by Blu-ray.com Members" has very little credibility. Plus, he makes up most of his stuff and passes it off as fact. The stuff he makes up can be mistaken as credible because he has gotten some stuff right. He also blocks people who call him on his BS, even when he says that he doesn't. He has blocked me for calling him out for stealing Tyrok's pics. This guy is a scumbag, but people eat his BS up like it was going out of style.

Mostly agree, but in this case the drop appears legit. He does make up a lot and passes his own speculation as insider info. However he does have some legit sources feeding him info, in particular when it comes to BBY exclusives.

Although I must stress, GG is not the source on this, he is just passing along info that has been passed to him.

Let's also hope Lionsgate announce 4K steelbook editions for Basic Instinct, and other 4K titles that companies released in the UK that Lionsgate still holds the US Blu-ray rights for.

You should watch it. One of my favorite movies ever and IMO the best latter-day Kurosawa.
