SEVEN CLASSIC GODZILLA FILMS SLATED FOR JAPANESE 4K UHD BLU-RAY THIS FALL! Following the announcement of "Godzilla Minus One," Toho Video has announced that seven 4K remastered Godzilla movies will be released over three consecutive months on UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray (2K downscale), separately, starting October 25, 2023. It’s rumored that further remastering work is being executed for these physical media releases from the 4K remasters previously broadcast on the Japanese Speciality Movie Channel.
First up will be the original GODZILLA (1954). Special features include an HD remaster of the Cinemascope version of "Godzilla, King of the Monsters," Akira Takarada Audio Commentary*, Various Trailers, Still Gallery, Akira Ifukube Interview*, The Oxygen Destroyer*, Re-orchestrated Godzilla Theme*, Unused Godzilla Footage (unconverted to HD from the "Godzilla Final Box" Bonus Disc). Barrier-free Japanese Subtitles. Original Mono Audio (Linear PCM). (*Included on previous Blu-ray.)

Dropping on the same date will be MOTHRA VS. GODZILLA (1964).
