When compared to The Howling SteelBook, this belongs in the Louvre.

It will be interesting to see if there will be one other person in the world who shares that opinion.

LOL. Point taken, but I just really, really despise that sloppy, overcrowded, graphic novel style artwork and have railed against it for at least the last ten years. It’s like a callback to the absolute worst years of Scream Factory artwork (and I include their Halloween 4K series in that). Don’t get me wrong, The Howling’s new steelbook is absolutely ridiculous.

I think it's pretty decent vampire art. I can't really tell how well those near-silhouettes are to Team Crow, but I might get it. I'm kinda surprised it's getting trashed.

I suppose it's the point with both being JC films and done by the same artist, but it reminds me too much of The Ghosts of Mars one. You wouldn't be wrong to assume the two were in the same franchise even.

Everyone is so critical. I think it looks cool. I’m hoping we get new SteelBooks for The Thing and Village Of The Damned. Plus when do we get 4Ks of the rest of Carpenter’s films?

Mexifunk might be using AI, all his artwork just has weird AI filtering all over it.

This was the first Carpenter film I saw as a kid, probably 1999 when I was 13. I remember being so overwhelmed with how badass this movie was. It was such a different vampire movie than anything else.

I hated the art they gave the BD last time. Thankfully the poster art was there to flip to. I think I am okay with this one.

I just don't get it with any of these Steels. Some look better than others and some look turrible. But they all just seem uninspired like cash grabs for a higher retail. If something has an anniversary do a Steelbook but Shout does Steelbooks because it's Tuesday. I have been over Steels for awhile and it's funny to me they are more delicate than standard cases in some ways but you can't easily replace them when they break. Sony and Lionsgate are also bad and Lionsgate locking things into Steelbooks with no standard option.
