this is very intresting.

dvd is clearly supperior to those supposed "HD" downloads and blu-ray is clearly on top in terms of quality.

Apple charges $4.99 for 720p and DD 5.1 for 24 hours viewing....no thanks.

no kidding, the bitrates are so low on those, i would rather have a 480p DVD than those things. This really shows how crappy downloads are.

DVD is a much bigger threat than downloads. DVD has downloads beat in price and quality.

720p + compressed audio does not a home theater experience make.

amazing that apple and ms will now go out of their way to tell us there's no difference anyway... because now they need to figure out how to cram that data down the pipe.
