I'm going to assume the release date will align with the release of 28 Years Later in 4k. This is good news.

Got half way through 28 Days Later this morning, before my wife interrupted to tell me one of our dogs has diarrhea. So, I guess I'm dog sitting, while my wife goes to yoga.

This has how my morning has been going.....

Thought this was brilliant. The first half is gloomy, oppressive, equal parts ugly and beautiful, contrasting the Scottish highlands with some of the most rancid zombie designs I've seen since the glory days of Italian cinema. Then it turns tender. As the film drew to a close, I was watching it through tears. The sequel hook at the end is shamelessly absurd and I can see it turning some folks off, but I'm pumped.

I knew Danny Boyle wouldn't disappoint!

That last scene was something and I loved it

The visuals - outside of few noisy & smeary shots looking like they were captured by a phone from 2010 - were amazing and should look great on UHD.

Just seen this. Absolutely brilliant! Rare for a part three to be the best of the bunch but this is easily my favourite of the trilogy! Steelbook will be getting ordered later! (UK is going live at midnight i believe)

It's weird, 28 days later 4k steelbook wasn't sold in the U.S. But, I was able to pre-order the 28 years 4k steelbook from Walmart just now. I did order the 28 days from rarewaves today.

Same here, my favorite of the three. This one feels pure Alex Garland, some shades of Sunshine and Civil War even. Really loved it.

Yeah, got some real trippy Cinematography and real genre mashup. Ending was kinda crazy/funny/ I dunno wtf to think lol! but film overall was brilliant!

Got an order in for the steelbook! Placeholder art only at the moment which is same art used for all editions so I suspect it will change but I do like the 'bone temple' design they are using

Just saw this with my bro today. Got to give it to Boyle, there was a lot of philosophical elements here regarding death. Was not expecting that at all. Very emotional and, at times, very funny film. 4 out of 5.

Watched yesterday at cinemas, didn't like it, a big step down comparing to 28 Weeks Later.

I'm not sure if it was the iphone but I definitely noticed that the picture wasn't as sharp as I am used to in the theater I saw it in. Some scenes seemed to have almost a texture over the image, definitely more noticeable on faces and lighter images. 28 Weeks Later looked better, I dig how that looks with it's heavy grain (the less said about how awful 28 Days Later looks, the better). But this was way better than 28 Weeks Later, even if the first ~30 min of that movie are awesome.

iPhone cameras are still way worse so it is definitely the iPhone, the 4k won't look great. Expect it to maybe look slightly better than something like Unsane 4k.
