Glad to see Bird back to direct. Just hope the script is good. Incredibles 2 was fun but the story and climax weren't as good as the original imo.

Very glad they didn’t move ahead on this without Brad Bird. I will accept blatant cash grabs like this when the original creatives are involved. Same reason I’m glad Stanton took over Toy Story 5

Well they better give Brad Bird full creative control. Though it makes me wonder what happened to his "Ray Gunn" project.

Loved the first. One of my favorite movies. Second however was insanely meh to me. Hopefully Bird can deliver a great 3rd to make up for 2.

Loved the first two so I’m very much on board for another.

Disney dropping bombs this D23, feeling like the good ol days. Just don’t screw it all up.

The Incredibles is one of my favorite movies ever. 2 was alright, they basically did away the first one's ending and then did a very similar movie but flipping Mr Incredible and Elastigirl's roles. Hopefully they can do something different and great for the 3rd one!

Happy to hear Brad Bird is involved

I wonder if Brad Bird is still working on Ray Gunn, I guess he isn't and he's back at Pixar. I would have preferred Ray Gunn to this to be honest.

Hopefully Brad Bird has a good idea to bring to the table here. Two was fine but it felt lacking after such a long wait, so hopefully something strong as a capper to the series (if Disney allows that).

I love the First two, favorite Pixar movies, if they screw this up, I will never forgive Disney.

Hopefully Brad Bird has a good script to work with.

I wonder how much they paid Bird to come back.

Kind of sad to see how Brad Bird's career has ended up. One of the most brilliant director out there but his career has been in a lump since he made Tomorrowland and it flopped. I mean, Incredibles 2 and years later Incredibles 3? His Ray Gunn project sounded so interesting and the kind of stuff Bird was born to do. Sigh. At least we'll always have his Iron giant.

This cast needs to be aged up, in my opinion. I really liked two, and, I'm obviously not casting blame at actors for aging, but, I did find the voices to be a bit distracting.

Still, great movies, happy Brad Bird is involved. Very much looking forward to it!

I would prefer they keep it in the early/mid 60's, I don't need them to age up the characters. I do think that Dash and Violet need super hero names. I also hope the 3rd movie will focus more on them especially since movie 1 focused on Bob and the 2nd one focused on Helen and the baby.

Writer should be Brad Bird too. He has written the previous two.

I really hope that Disney this time doesn't pull the rug under him. Incredibles 2 feels half-baked and messy, and I don't think that's a coincidence when considering that the film was originally meant to come out in summer of 2019, but Disney changed the release to summer 2018. Brad Bird and others talk about how much they had to hurry, and a lot of things were only decided six months or so before release.

I personally would have hoped for a TV animated show that is a sequel to Incredibles 2.

Brad Bird may not retcon Incredibles 2, but he can quietly ignore it, just like Cars 3 didn't have anything from Cars 2 (which is a far worse film than Incredibles 2 to be fair). The first Incredibles film ended with the heroes implicitly becoming legal and Violet going into a date. The second film ended with the Incredibles becoming legal and Violet going into a date.

I hope Incredibles 3 can at least help Brad Bird gets his Ray Gunn project done. It's really kinda sad what became of his career since Tomorrowland flopped.
